has it really been this long since i have posted?
i am so sorry. thank you for those that are still reading.
i have not been able to teach yoga + pilates for so long that my body is feeling it. it makes me want to sit in the splits for an hour while i read a book and then sit in a hot yoga room in the pretzel.

so i wanted to share what has been going on lately. i am completely gluten and wheat free. so crazy. it has been exhausting having to pick up EVERY label that doesn't have a "g" or say it is gluten free to check all the ingredients. my sister elise found out in january that she was celiac. we were all shocked. she told us she was feeling much better once she took out all of the wheat and gluten out of her diet. all of us got tested and they came back shifty. i took wheat and gluten out of my diet as much as i could but wasn't strict like elise. elise covers her food, washes her hands after she touches wheat, and is super careful with any amount of wheat near her. i took the blood tests again, and yes, i'm allergic. along with my sister bree.
two months ago, she came to stay with us with her husband and we had to make everything separate. i loved how careful she was so i paid attention. i have been just as strict as she is and have noticed i am feeling so much better. my skin is healing, my stomach doesn't hurt, i have so much more energy and i am never hungry. anyway, it is still annoying to be extra cautious but i am so happy to be gluten-free completely.
