There is hope!!!
Your thyroid gland is directly connected to your metabolism and is located in your neck. As many poses you know of that require you to pull your chin to your chest, activates your thyroid which in turn communicates with your metabolism.
For one Example, there is the:

will strengthen your entire spine, create flexibility to your spine, opens your
breathing passageways, stimulates your thyroid and could open emotions; bringing them up or out.

Hi! Did you make your other blog private? Anyway, thanks for the tip. I can't seem to keep the pounds off no matter how much salad I eat. However, I do know that when I was doing Zumba the pounds melted off like butter. I gotta get back to doing that. They switched instructors and I didn't like the new instructor, but I need to move past that. Thanks for all the great comments on my blog.
